In Germany only a small selection of episodes were broadcasted.
What I never found out is what criteria were used to select the episodes, which episodes were shown and which were not.
The first observation to be made is that none of the episodes in which Roger Davis played the second leading role was shown. A decision I regret, but understand very well.
Furthermore, it seems to sum up, that all episodes are missing, in which humans are seriously hurt or moral questionableness was part of the plot. Dishonest sheriffs, fraudulent bankers or racism were obviously topics that should be avoided in an entertainment programme.
Subtitles (Subs)
Unfortunately, there are no DVDs available which contain subtitles for all episodes, neither in German nor in English.
Since there was definitely a demand in fan circles, I started creating subtitle files myself.
They are probably not perfect, but can be used for private purposes. The rights to the original dialogs remain unaffected.
